Redefining Investment Advice

Empirical Wealth Management invites you to join Joel H. Hefner, CFA, Vice President of Dimensional Fund Advisors, for a workshop where Joel will be addressing the following topics:

  • - How do people define success when they describe their investment experience?

  • - Why is it so unlikely that picking stocks will lead to a positive investment experience?

  • - To an overwhelming degree, three simple factors explain why one diversified portfolio behaves differently from another. What are they?

  • - Why does the stock market’s “fast money” veneer still exist?
