Marsha Jong Senior Portfolio Manager Marsha is a Senior Portfolio Manager, working closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to design and manage customized investment strategies aligned with their unique goals. With over 25 years of experience and a deep understanding of global markets, Marsha is known for her thoughtful, client-centric approach to portfolio management. Prior to joining Empirical, Marsha held several senior leadership roles at BlackRock. Most recently, she led the International Portfolio Management team, overseeing more than $500 billion in equity ETF assets. She also previously led the U.S. Institutional Portfolio Management team, managing $1.2 trillion across 150+ equity index portfolios for a wide range of institutional clients, including pensions, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and insurance companies. Marsha is a passionate advocate for diversity and leadership development. She co-founded and co-led the Women in Investments group in the Americas at BlackRock, creating a community of over 1,000 members focused on mentorship, professional growth, and elevating women leaders in finance. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Equity Research Analyst covering the Specialty Retail and Interactive Entertainment sectors.
