Shan Zubair CFP®, MS Senior Financial Advisor | Principal Drawing on nearly two decades of experience, Shan brings a well-considered implementation of Empirical Wealth Management’s investment management, tax minimization, and financial planning strategies. In his early career with Empirical, he held a dual role working alongside the firm’s CEO and CFO as a Financial Operations Manager while also serving as a Financial Advisor. This experience gave him valuable perspective and helped shape his understanding of the planning needs of his clients, particularly in the areas of succession planning, executive compensation, and the unique needs of closely held business owners. In 2018, he relocated to Southern California to help establish and lead Empirical’s Southern California offices after more than a decade of serving clients in the Pacific Northwest. Raised in Bellevue, Washington, Shan earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and a Master of Science in Finance from the Albers School of Business at Seattle University and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He also holds a graduate certificate in business development from the University of Washington. His combined work and educational experience has helped him guide individuals, families, and business owners through complex financial decisions with an emphasis on clarity, efficiency, and long-term success. In addition to his professional work, Shan has served on the board of KidsQuest Children’s Museum and as part of the Business Leadership Council for Washington DECA, reflecting his commitment to education, community engagement, and the development of future leaders.
