Job Description for Receptionist


  • Maintains inventory of office and kitchen supplies; orders new supplies as needed
  • Ensures conference rooms are prepped, clean, and ready for client meetings
  • Maintains the office condition and submitting repair, maintenance & design requests
  • Acts as person of contact for building management and relays essential information to the team

Client/customer service

  • Greets and assists clients and visitors


  • Answering phones
  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Handling all outgoing mail & shipping requests
  • Maintains office files and implements efficient systems for filing and records according to company compliance regulations
  • Scanning in documents
  • Printing materials as needed for advisors and team

Your Qualities – What we want to see in you

  • 2-3 years receptionist experience in a professional office setting
  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and build relationships
  • Ability to take direction and wear many hats in a team environment with a warm, engaging and professional demeanor
  • Expeditious, timely, reliable, and courteous service to client needs
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and proactively anticipate and address upcoming needs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to function effectively under occasional pressure with changing priorities, minimal direction, and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills
